A community dialogue on how Vermont can stay on track toward a universal healthcare system where we all people get the care they need, when they need it. In 2011, due to a people’s movement, Vermont passed a law requiring the state to create a universal healthcare system that meets all people’s health needs. The Vermont Workers’ Center, who leads the Healthcare Is a Human Right Campaign, is holding community meetings statewide this fall to talk with our neighbors about how this system will work and how we can hold our government accountable to making it a reality. Green Mountain Care Board members, Legislative leaders and healthcare professionals, discuss how our state can best fulfill our human right to healthcare. The panelists include: Ellen Watson, APRN, Winooski Family Practice, Molly Flemming, N.D., L.Ac., State Senator Tim Ashe,
Robin Lunge, Director of Healthcare Reform
