Dan Higgins has a conversation with Town Meeting TV's Travis Washington about the City of Burlington's sister city, Puerto Cabezas.

Includes a 16 minute long film created by Dan Higgins and Julio Bordas. 

Since 1984 Burlington, Vermont has been a sister city with the Nicaraguan municipality of Puerto Cabezas. This short video, assesmbled from clips made over the years, revisits the origin of that relationship and introduces Vermonters to the multicultural richness of the region. There has been no justice for the people of Tigray. The deadliest war this century, and the world is silent. The perpetrators of the genocide of the Tigray people need to be held accountable and brought to justice. We walk down Church Street in protest to a rally outside City Hall.
