Burlington residents will face 8 ballot items this town meeting. The Burlington City Council Charter Change Committee recommended with Council approval, placing 3 Charter Change Articles on the March Ballot. Article 5 - Proposed Charter Change-Majority Vote Required for Election of Mayor Article 6 - Proposed Charter Change - City Council Rules, Valid Majority Article 7 - Proposed Charter Change - Composition of Board of Finance. Charter Change Committee members discussing these Articles are: Councilor Joan Shannon and Committee Staff Member, City Attorney Ken Schatz.
