Steve Norman, Alliance Française of the Lake Champlain Region, (aflcr.org) hosts Michele Powers, Plattsburgh North Country Chamber of Commerce, Megan Smith, VT Commissioner of Tourism and Marketing, and Melinda Moulton, Main Street Landing Company, discussing the need for more local employees with French language skills. Burlington City Councilor Norm Blais (chief sponsor of 2011 City Council resolution) calls in with his personal story and the cultural-historical reasons to promote French in our region.
