The EPA released water quality goals for Lake Champlain in mid-August with the state proposing ways to achieve those goals. Phospherus reduction is a major focus of both reports.Diane Meyerhoff hosts Dan Albrecht, Senior Planner with Chittenden County Reginal Planning Commission, Mary Borg, Department of Environmental Conservation's Watershed Management Division, and Alyssa Schuren, Commissiner of the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation in a discussion on the draft TMDL (Total Maximum Daily Loads) and the impacts of reaching the target numbers. Join 8 other youth to engage in interesting media making projects! This paid media internship opportunity is designed for youth aged 16-20 who are eager to gain professional experience in the audio-visual field and develop a deeper understanding of their local community. 5 of these spots are specifically for students who are part of the Burlington My Brother's Keeper/My Sister's Keeper programs. The group will meet under the leadership of Town Meeting TV's Travis Washington from the beginning of April 2024 to the end of August 2024, on a schedule agreed upon by the whole cohort.
