Description
On the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the Vermont House and Senate passed a resolution recognizing the event. Armenians gathered on March 31st 2015 to celebrate the significant resolution with music during the House "Devotional" by Locum, and an afternoon presentation by Vermont authors Chris Bohjalian and Dana Walrath. 1.5 million Armenians were killed in the genocide, which began in April 2015. Some countries, including Turkey, have not recognized the Armenian Genocide happened.
