Tempest Collective: No Más Polimigra! Stop Police Collaboration with ICE 07/20/2026

From the Tempest Collective:

On March 11 in South Burlington, ICE collaborated with local and state police to carry out an illegal raid on an immigrant family’s home. They brutalized people in the home and their defenders in the streets. Despite this clear violation of the Fair and Impartial Policing Policy (FIPP), the political leadership of Burlington, South Burlington, and the state have exonerated the police from any wrongdoing and dismissed charges of police brutality.

Now defenders are in danger of being targeted for attempting to stop the illegal raid, as activists—half of them union members—have been in Minneapolis.

Join us at this meeting to strategize about how we can enforce the FIPP, build resistance to ICE, and protect the rights of both immigrants and defenders.

Burlington's new high school and technical center is OPEN! Join us for a tour of the new building. Thank you for your support!

Guests are invited to join us to tour Burlington's new high school and technical center. Accessible parking will be available on the driveway directly adjacent to the south side of the building; all other parking is in the student lots across the street.

The building is big! We will show you as much as we can, but please be aware that we will not be able to deviate from the tour. Guests should expect to spend up to 90 minutes exploring the new campus. Everyone is invited, including children of all ages!

Queen City Indivisible: Good Trouble Lives On - Voting Rights Rally and Call to Action 07/17/2026

From Chittenden Third Act / Queen City Indivisible:

The aim of this event is to increase public awareness of civil and voting rights as they pertain to the upcoming midterm elections, and to inspire action towards an effective voter turnout.

There will be music by Sambatucada Drums, the Resistance Drummers and the Brass Balagan. The central part of the celebratory rally will be three speakers who will cover current conditions and Supreme Court decisions affecting voting rights, John Lewis' legacy in the Civil Rights movement and the moral imperative to continue his work, as well as the importance of voting and enabling all citizens to vote. There will be tables surrounding the speaking area where organizations involved in voting rights and election action will have literature available and will provide the opportunity for people to join them in working towards free and fair elections.
