The Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival is a day long celebration of community, camaraderie, and competition.
Ninety teams -- that's about 2000 paddlers -- race 41 foot long dragon boats for fun, fitness, and fundraising.

Neighborhood Planning Assemblies (NPAs) are grassroots, neighborhood organizations that were established in each of Burlington's seven Wards to empower citizen participation in City government. Working as neighborhood advocacy groups, Neighborhood Planning Assemblies facilitate communication between the citizens of Burlington and city government through regular meetings scheduled in each Ward. Ward5 meet Department of Public Works Building, 645 Pine Street.

Town of Colchester Announces Plans to Purchase Camp Holy Cross 07/22/2011

Officials from the Town of Colchester announce the signing of a Purchase and Sale Agreement with the Catholic Diocese of Burlington. The Agreement authorizes the Town of Colchester to acquire the entirety of the most unique property known as Camp Holy Cross. The Agreement sets a purchase price of $4.5 million. The question will be presented to the voters at a special election to be held October 4, 2011.

CCTV Center for Media & Democracy is pleased to announce receipt of a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Humanities Collections and Reference Resources grant alongside 32 peer archival institutions across the country.
