Justice Movement

  • April 9, 2025

Rev. Mark Hughes hosts an episode of The Juxtaposition about issues affecting Black Folks and Black Folks effecting change.

    From Mark Hughes:

Racism in the United States served as a decisive factor in determining the outcome of the presidential elections and is at the center of all of the ongoing chaos. Our moderate and progressive allies seem to be tired and unwilling or unable to focus on it.

But how are we expected to defend ourselves against this unprecedented attack on our hard-fought civil rights, purchased with the blood of our ancestors at a moment such as this when moderates and progressive folks refuse to face it? How do we get them to understand that America is going to keep doing this until we get systemic racism right?
