Burlington School Board’s Committee on Diversity and Equity engages the community in a dialogue to guide the direction of the School District’s efforts on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Thet School Board of Commissioners has moved forward its proposed updated Policy for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the School District. Additionally, the Board approved a Board Strategic Plan for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion that includes a Mission and Vision for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for the District.
