Description
From Gary De Carolis:
Five words that describe Barbara Benton:
Barbara Benton is
For the past 41 years, CCTV has been documenting the stories of the greater Burlington community. From city meetings and neighborhood gatherings to protests, concerts, and important moments that define who we are. All of those memories live on in the CCTV archives through thousands of tapes that hold over four decades of Vermont history. But time is running out. The average VHS tape lasts only about 25 years, and many of ours are deteriorating fast.
That’s why CCTV is taking action to protect and save these irreplaceable archives — and we need your help.
Join us for our Telethon Fundraiser to save the CCTV archives and preserve 41+ years of Vermont’s history. Tune in July 25th at 6 PM through July 26th at 6 PM for 24 hours of community-created programming, live music, a local auction, and plenty of ways to give back. Together, we can keep these stories alive for generations to come.
Donate. Watch. Be a part of history.
Saturday's programming is in collaboration with the Old North End Ramble.
