The focus on how to truly fix the way we finance and conduct our federal campaigns so Congress will have reasonable incentive to serve the interests of all Americans rather than often those of wealthy campaign contributors. All interested Vermont citizens invited. Rick Hubbard will moderate the discussion.

Enhancing the discussion, a wide variety of Vermonters with special interests and perspectives participate as “special participants.” These include State Senator Ginny Lyons, leader of the Amendment Campaign in VT; Ben Scotch Esq. retired attorney; Bill Shubart, writer and VPR commentator; Emily Dec, representing Democracy for America; Vee Gordon, President, League of Women Voters of the Champlain Valley of Vermont; Judy Yarnall Phd., representing Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom; Robin Lloyd, Burlington organizer; Matt McGrath, representing the Vermont Workers Center; Wally Roberts representing Common Cause Vermont; Emily Dec, representing Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility; Gabby Ochoa Brennemn representing Peace & Justice Center; and Patricia Coates, representing Congressman Peter Welch, and John Tracy, State Director for Senator Leahy's office.
