Channel 17 host Kim Villemaire is joined by Tom Chittenden, GMT Board Chair, and Jamie Smith, GMT's Marketing and Public Affairs Manager, to discuss recent changes in Green Mountain Transit's bus service.

The Green Mountain Transit (GMT) Board of Commissioners voted April 16, 2019 to move forward with the implementation of the urban NextGen Service Plan. The plan went into effect June 17, 2019.
 
Highlights of the NextGen Service Plan include:
• Passenger-friendly maps and schedules
• Service every 20 Minutes from 6AM to 6PM on major routes
• Service every 30 Minutes from 6AM to 6PM on most other routes
• More evening and weekend service
• All-day service to airport from downtown
• Improved Commuter schedules
• More service, all day long
