Description

John Brothers of Cuidiu Consulting brings his national expertise in nonprofit capacity building to the requirements of nonprofit leadership in changing times. Planning in today's uncertain environment requires both nonprofit leaders to know where an organization stands and to understand that tough times will mark change in the organization’s leadership style. Brothers starts with the state of the US nonprofit sector and the major financial challenges that affect small and medium sized organizations. He reviews the hallmarks of high functioning organizations and stages of nonprofit development. In the last part of his talk, John brings these together to recommend different type of leadership styles called for by these trends and internal factors. Part of Common Good Vermont's Fall 2010 Leadership Series.
