Description
The Ordinance Committee will take up 'Health Care Facility Buffer Zone' as their sole agenda item. Testimony from Planned Parenthood of Northern New Engaland, Burlington Police Department, ACLU, and public comment are included.The City Council Ordinance Committee reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council regarding proposed changes to the City Code of Ordinances. Proposed changes come to the Committee upon a referral from the full City Council and can be in the form of new ordinance proposals, proposed amendments to existing ordinances, or proposed repeal of existing ordinances. Upon completing its reviews, the Committee returns its recommendations to the full City Council for their final vote.
