Description

Creating environments that are inclusive and empowering to girls of all racial and cultural backgrounds is a work in progress for most youth-serving organizations. Join Vermont Public Radio's Jane Lindholm and a panel of guests in a thought-provoking and timely discussion that explores strategies for aligning organizational practices to be more culturally competent and share strategies to ensure that the voices of all girls are heard and celebrated. The Vermont Girls Collaborative is a network of programs across the state that works together to leverage the power of girls' programs through the sharing of resources, ideas and relationships; promote girls' well-being and social equity; and expand the capacity of girls' programs to meet the needs of Vermont girls.
