The Town of Colchester Heritage Committee invites all Colchester residents to help generate ideas on how the town should manage itself in the future. Who: Joint meeting of the City Council and Planning Commission
Where: South Burlington Municipal Offices

Exit 12B is a potential new interchange serving the South Burlingtonarea from Interstate 89. The potential for this interchange, to complement exit 14 at Williston Road/Main Street, has been discussed for several years.

The potential interchange would likely be located in the general area of where Hinesburg Road crosses the Interstate, though a full Environmental Impact Analysis exploring all options would need to be completed before any decisions were made. Watch part 2 here.

Governor-elect Peter Shumlin Announces Economic Cabinet Team 11/22/2010

Governor-elect Peter Shumlin announces his economic cabinet team. Lawrence Miller, 44, as secretary of commerce and community development. Miller’s deputy will be Patricia Moulton-Powden, 51, who most recently worked as commissioner of labor. Chuck Ross as secretary of agriculture, Annie Noonan, 54, as commissioner of labor.
