The Internet of Things with Steve Shepard

  • February 5, 2016

Steve Shepard, Vermont tech translator, will give an inspiring presentation on "The Internet of Things."

The Internet of Things, also known as the ‘Internet of Everything’ or ‘Machine-to-Machine Communications,’ is perhaps the single greatest technology change agent that we have seen in more than a decade. Already becoming universal, it is showing up in entertainment, healthcare, public safety, and a myriad of other functions. But its real value comes into play when it is combined with the other members of a technology family that together are changing the way we work, play, and live our lives. In this lunchtime presentation we will explore the Internet of Things and see why many are now calling it the 'Internet of Possibilities.’

It won’t take long for you to think about the implications of this important trend on your work and organization.
