CVOEO Fair Housing Project in Kirundi 04/20/2010

The Fair Housing Project (FHP) is a program of the Statewide Housing Services division of the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO), a non-profit community action agency. The FHP works to eradicate housing discrimination in Vermont through education, outreach, and enforcement of fair housing laws. The FHP assists victims of discrimination, investigates complaints, and works with attorneys to pursue litigation when necessary.

Burlington Wards 4 & 7 NPA Meeting 04/20/2010

Neighborhood Planning Assemblies (NPAs) are grassroots, neighborhood organizations that were established in each of Burlington's seven Wards to empower citizen participation in City government. Working as neighborhood advocacy groups, Neighborhood Planning Assemblies facilitate communication between the citizens of Burlington and city government through regular meetings scheduled in each Ward. Wards 4 & 7 meet the third Tuesday of the month. Meeting place: Robert E. Miller Community Center 130 Gosse Court.

Vermont Interfaith Action - Tilley Drive Public Recognition Action 04/20/2010

Vermont Interfaith Action's work to create solutions to systemic issues tackled a transportation issue for Tilley Drive in South Burlington, home to many medical services. Public and private partnerships resolved the issue and are celebrated and recognized.
