Step back in time to the 18th century at the Ethan Allen Homestead Museum! Come see what everyday life was like on the New England frontier during and after the American Revolution. Museum admission includes access to exhibits, a guided tour of the restored 1787 Allen House, a 15-minute film on Revolutionary War veteran & Vermont founder Ethan Allen, a kid’s costume corner, tavern toys & games, and access to our recreated 18th century colonial garden. The Museum also hosts a gift shop featuring Vermont artisan products and historical books and toys.

Angie Grove is the Executive Director of the Ethan Allen Homestead Museum in Burlington, Vermont. Angie grew up in Washington State, and moved across the country twenty years ago to pursue her passion for Revolutionary War era history. Angie studied philosophy at Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Virginia, and earned her master’s in history at UVM. In addition to her experience in history museums, Angie has also taught in both public and nonprofit education, and has participated in two archaeological digs in Europe. Angie lives in the New North End of Burlington with her spouse and two dogs and when she is not at the museum, she enjoys outdoor and traveling adventures.
