Town Meeting TV's Jordan Mitchell chats with Alisha Laramee, Program Coordinator for New Farms for New Americans, and other farm workers, about their recent experiences at the farm and how they have been impacted by flooding in the Intervale.
New Farms for New Americans is a program of AALV that connects refugee and immigrant families with land and resources to grow food. The program helps families to continue agrarian traditions, address food insecurity, and grow culturally significant crops.
