Ms. Sasamori and Mr. Yamashita, Hibakusha (Atomic Bomb Survivors from Hiroshima and Nagasaki), traveled to Vermont to speak to us and students from local schools. This conversation is joined by disarmament educator Dr. Kathleen Sullivan, consultant to UN Office for Disarmament Affairs, and Mr. Robert Croonquist. The panel discussed the historic, ethical, human, and environmental consequences of nuclear weapons and efforts including ratifying the UN treaty to prohibit nuclear weapons.
