Win Smith was Executive Vice President of Merrill Lynch following in his father’s footsteps who was one of the founders of the company. Win stepped down in 2001. He is an entrepreneur, private investor, and was the chair and CEO of Summit Ventures which owned and operated Sugarbush Resort in Warren Vermont until 2020. Win retired in September 2020 to pursue many of his passions. In 2022 Win was awarded the National Ski Areas Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award and on Dec. 14th of this year Win Smith was inducted on to the Sugarbush Wall of Fame. He has written a book "Catching Lightning In A Bottle" How Merrill Lynch Revolutionized the Financial World.
