The Vermont Council on World Affairs and the Fletcher Free Library hosts author, Peter Garang Deng.  Born in South Sudan, orphaned at age 5, Garang's book 'Lost Generation' tells the true story of Garang's difficult childhood, and his heroic flight to the refugee camp in Kenya, ultimately to Burlington, Vermont.  Garang recently graduated from Champlain College. He speaks of his work to help orphaned children in his homeland through his foundation, New Sudan Jonglei Orphans Foundation, and shares his inspirational story and journey.  Vermont Council on World Affairs - www.vcwa.org
