Description
From the organizer:
This October Howard Center will open a new Mental Health Urgent Care in partnership with the University of Vermont Medical Center, Community Health Centers, Pathways Vermont, and the Vermont Department of Mental Health. Join us to learn more about Mental Health Urgent Care at a public town hall webinar on September 10 from 1:30-3:00 p.m.
The clinic will offer mental health support services, peer support, and medical care in a trauma-informed, suicide-safe setting located at 1 South Prospect Street in Burlington. Care will be available for adults over 18 seeking immediate support or in self-defined crisis as a therapeutic alternative to emergency department care. Come learn more and listen to a presentation by the project managers Cathie Buscaglia and Charlotte McCorkel from Howard Center and Maureen Leahy and Karen Vastine from the University of Vermont Medical Center. The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer period.
