The Vermont Climate and Health Alliance (VTCHA) and Vermont Public Interest Research Group (VPIRG) host a press conference Wednesday, December 13 at 294 North Winooski Avenue, Suite 214A, Burlington, VT 05401.
The event begins with testimony from several Vermont healthcare providers regarding the impacts of recent climate events on the health of Vermonters across the state. They also provide insight on the fossil fuel industry’s involvement in worsening health conditions across the world and locally around the state. Next, we detail the combined legislative goal of VTCHA and VPIRG – passing the Climate FAIR Share Act.
