Description
Rep. Welch holds a press conference to urge families to claim the expanded Child Tax Credit (CTC) by the May 17th tax filing deadline. The CTC was increased to up to $300 per child every month as part of the American Rescue Plan, which was recently signed into law. He is joined by a Vermonter who will benefit from the CTC expansion, and local advocates from the Lund Family Center and the Champlain Office of Economic Opportunity.
