Host Lauren-Glenn Davitian speaks with John Reuwer who traveled with Christian Peacemaker Team to mining zone in Columbia's southern Bolivar province.  John shares his efforts to support small-scale miners organizing to protect their rights in the race of Colombian military efforts to "secure" the zone for multinational investment. Christian Peacemaker Teams is an initiative of the historic peace churches (Mennonites, Church of the Brethren, and Quakers) with support and membership from a range of Catholic and Protestant denominations. CPT has had a continuing presence in Colombia since May 2001..
