Bernie Sanders hosted a forum September 25, 2010 in Randolph Center, Vermont on the $116 million in federal stimulus grants and loans awarded to Vermont Telephone Co. to extend broadband to Vermont's under-served communities. Sen. Sanders and members of the audience questioned VTel President Michael Guite and USDA Rural Utilities Service Administrator Jonathan Adelstein on a variety of issues related to the stimulus funding of VTel.
