Description

This year's Women's Economic Opportunity Conference (WEOC) 2017 starts off with an introduction by Rebecca EunMi Haslam. Afterwards, Muslim Girls Making Change take the stage to kickoff the storytelling session. Cary Brown, executive director of the Vermont Commission on Women, gives data on the current status of women in Vermont followed by stories that help us see the impact of that data on the lives of Vermonters. The conference is a project of the office of U.S. Senator Leahy in conjunction this year with Change The Story VT.
