From the organizers:
May 3 is United Nations-designated “World Press Freedom Day.” Third Act Chittenden County is sponsoring a rally to support Vermont Public, PBS, and all public broadcasting and independent media on Saturday, May 3, 12:00-2:00 pm, along Route 15 in Colchester outside Fort Ethan Allen near the VT Public offices and studios.
Marchers will assemble at the corner of Route 15 and the Barnes Avenue entrance to Fort Ethan Allen. We invite the public to join us to support free speech, free press, and funding for public media everywhere. Bring your signs.
