Description
Rep. Peter Welch and Sen. Bernie Sanders meet with key abortion rights partners in light of the recent Supreme Court decision to allow the nation’s most restrictive abortion law in Texas to take effect. Rep. Welch discusses the House’s expected passage of H.R. 3755 (the Women’s Health Protection Act), of which Rep. Welch is a cosponsor, to enshrine access to reproductive health care into law for all women across America. The participants also discuss the status of Vermont’s Reproductive Liberty Amendment to protect access to safe and legal abortion in Vermont.
