This rally is in opposition to the 25-year extension of the lease of 280 acres at the airport for the Vermont Air National Guard (VTANG). The existing lease expires in 2048. The mayor is asking the city council to ratify the agreement to extend that lease to 2073.
Fight for our children, our mental health, our physical health, our planet, affordable housing, and peace and justice. Fight against deafening noise pollution, genocide and war, corrupt politicians, carbon pollution, air pollution, and forever chemicals.
