The book describes Lockheed's lobbying, bribery, cost overruns, subsidies, lax oversight, flawed products, rigged tests, lies, self-dealing, revolving door, law-breaking, and endless pressure for endless war. The book also tells the story of remarkable "closet patriots"-- insiders who blew the whistle.
