Description

Building on the first meeting (8/5/15) continued public input is sought to refine and develop into draft ordinance language.  A final public meeting will be scheduled before language is submitted to City Council Ordinance Committee for consideration.

As public transportation industries are adapting to new technology and operations and demands have grown on the City's current licensing system, including the recent development of an Interim Operating Agreement with Uber to allow it to operated legally within the City of Burlington and the Airport, the  City is reviewing its Vehicle for Hire Ordinance. This is the first of 3 public work sessions.   http://www.burlingtonvt.gov
