Kevin Kamps, Radioactive Waste Specialist from Beyond Nuclear, talks with host Margaret Harrington about the fight against the illegal high-level radioactive waste dump targeted at New Mexico which would transport nuclear waste from Vermont Yankee. They discuss the evacuation and closing of the Zahn’s Corner Middle School in Piketon, Ohio where air monitors detected enriched uranium and neptunium-237 contaminants from a nearby closed nuclear weapons plant.
